Last Few Weeks!!

Hey there everybody!

I have been missing writing for the last few weeks because of how busy I have been, I know that is a terrible excuse! We all get busy but time is always made for the things that are a priority. We need to make sure that we make God our priority, no matter how busy we get we need to talk with God and let Him know what things are going on in our lives!

Some fun things that have happened lately:

Totally Tuesday was a blast!! I was so happy to see all of you and I will post some great pictures!!
The Easter Egg Hunt was fun! The wind kept a lot of you away but those of us who showed up had a great time.
Easter was a wonderful service and time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! The tomb is empty, He Is Alive!!
Children's Worship was so great! Mr. Chris and Pastor Emilio did a fantastic job and I hope everyone enjoyed the time of worship. Remember: It is about God, not about us!

This Sunday is Joseph: From The Pit To The Palace! Tell ALL your friends and family about the stomp musical!!

See you this week!

Worship At The Road

Hey everybody!

Yesterday was so much fun during Worship At The Road! Brother Bob did a great job with his story about John the Baptist and Jesus. I agree with everyone else; eating locust is not my idea of great food!!

I just got back from Upward Basketball and Cheerleading training, I learned a lot and can't wait to just dive in with our leaders and get Upward off the ground!! I know that you are all excited about having Upward back at Hampton Road.

Keep learning your memory verses and practicing your lines for the Joseph Musical, it is going to be a lot of fun!!

Spiritual Gifts

Last night during our missions lesson we learned about our spiritual gifts. Everyone, even children have spiritual gifts.

Our children have all sorts of spiritual gifts: encouragement, leadership, works, mercy, knowledge, giving, discernment, and service. There are a lot more but too many to count in our great group.

The website above is a great article about finding your child's spiritual gifts. Continue to pray that your children will grow in the Lord and develop their spiritual gifts!

We have some VERY TALENTED children who know love Christ. They know that worshipping God is more than singing in church and that they must tell others about God's love. Encourage the children to tell their friends about God's love and find their talents in the Lord.
